Five days decide a lifetime. Rehearse every one.
Thousands clear the written exam and fall at the Services Selection Board. We rehearse all five days of the SSB with mentors who have sat on the other side of the table.
The SSB interview carries 900 marks, as many as the written paper, and it tests something no textbook can teach: whether you think, act and lead like an officer.
Most institutes help students clear the written test and then leave them to face the SSB alone. At CSM-AFPI, SSB grooming runs through both years of the NDA Foundation Course, and this one-month course brings the same training to candidates preparing for their SSB. Our SSB faculty have worked as Interviewing Officer, Group Testing Officer and Psychologist, and our training infrastructure is laid out so that candidates practise in realistic conditions, with the whole process re-enacted by experts.
A focused course that takes candidates through every test of the Services Selection Board, with honest feedback after each one. Batch dates, timings and fees are shared on enquiry.
Structured practice in group discussions, with feedback on clarity, listening and how you influence the group.
Group planning, progressive group tasks, command tasks and individual obstacles on a practice layout.
Short talks to a group, and mock personal interviews with candid feedback on content and conduct.
Officer Intelligence Rating tests, then the Picture Perception and Discussion Test: write a story about a hazy picture, narrate it and discuss it as a group. Only screened-in candidates stay on.
We train: timed OIR practice, story writing, narration and group discussion.
We train: guided practice and honest feedback on what your answers reveal.
Group discussion, group planning exercise, progressive and half group tasks, individual obstacles, command task, group obstacle race, lecturette and the final group task.
We train: on a practice layout, coached by a former GTO.
A one-to-one conversation with the Interviewing Officer about your background, family, studies, interests and awareness, testing consistency and confidence.
We train: mock interviews and personality development sessions.
The assessors meet each candidate and decide together. Recommended candidates go on to the medical examination and the merit list.
We train: poise, clarity and composure under assessment.
Every test at the SSB measures some of these. Our personality grooming works on all fifteen.
